I am also an Elektron idiot (sucker)...the sequencer/locks etc is so good. They prey on our ability to stumble onto happy accidents to make our music 'AMAZING' but they hide features from other machines 'ARPEGIATOR' on digitone but not on syntakt? I own (2nd hand ebay) Oct, digi, synt, a4 keys and stay with it because of the workflow. however, I realise I could have done better with less expense purchases. I cannot imagine how people cope with buying the machines full price/new. IMHO.

Aphex Twin also tried to make music on limited gear.. till he got sick of it! 😂

yea that really bugs me as well. its like apples business model where they gimp their laptops by not giving them a touchscreen, so you are tempted to buy one of their tablets. well, it doesnt work on me because ive never bought anything from apple or elektron because of that nonsense
